NOTE: We can't compare the department of health total testing results after 8/24 with any earlier periods since there was a methodology change to count total tests instead of the people tested. I never alter previous reported results, so I won't be changing my spreadsheet for historical periods to adjust to the new department of health statistics methodology. The 480 new cases are higher than the 404 yesterday on a much higher volume of tests (13,690 total tests on 9/29 vs 5,936 on 9/28).The two new deaths is a large decline from the 24 yesterday, but those were a catch up from several days of no reports. The 50 new hospitalizations is a big jump from the six yesterday, but the department of health had issues with hospitalization data yesterday so most of yesterday's numbers are present in today's count.https://ift.tt/30oyO3Z maintain a complete set of statistics, and charts, based on Washington state department of health web site daily reports on a public spreadsheet.https://ift.tt/2vzfLaY got these numbers from the WA department of health web site.https://ift.tt/31LVWKX spreadsheet showing individual county break-downs, compared to the state averages, is maintained by u/en334_0:https://ift.tt/3jBOckC spreadsheet showing Pierce county break-downs is maintained by u/illumiflo:https://ift.tt/3hKubrH spreadsheet showing King county break-downs is maintained by u/JC_Rooks:https://ift.tt/3lFyqHy via /r/CoronavirusWA https://ift.tt/33fzXg0
