The UK mental health system is failing me

I’ve been in the mental health system for over 13 years. I won’t over complicate things by telling you the exact details but: I’ve seen too many professionals, been in too many hospitals- to tell you it all. I’ve been begging for help. I’ve spent years of my life in the system: care, hospitals, prison.I was arrested in 2018 for arson. I committed the crime as a last straw attempt to get some help. Instead of 9 years in prison, I got 2.5 years “suspended sentence” (serve your time on probation, they don’t care to help properly). My probation officer contacts me once a week- asks if I’m okay. Whatever. They don’t help.I haven’t once received a legitimate psychiatric assessment, treatment. I need full years long treatment and medication. How can I afford this.I don’t know what I’m posting on here for. I’m worried that something bad will happen. via /r/BPD https://ift.tt/2HCDeh4
