Can someone help me understand why my doctor recommended this

​I was complaining about side effects (which were real and documented effects on my physical health) and when I talked to her she just wanted me to take the shot every 3 weeks instead of every 4 weeks. How is that supposed to help with side effects?! she also offered to go to the ward and starting a new med as an option but I believe that most 2nd gen antipsychotics have the same issue.so I decided to go off meds completely via /r/Psychosis https://ift.tt/3jXiU8n
